Patent Abstract
A multiple function LED night light with air-freshener consist of (a) LED display unit with light-medium properties to allow the LED(s) located on LED input-ends to make majority of LED light beams travel within the said LED display and the brightness be seen from viewer from LCD display all surface. The LED display unit has preferable configuration and thickness and well assembly with said night light assembly to make the good value appearance. Incorporate with housing means to form a slot, space, room to allow the air-freshener, LED display, sealed-unit and all related electric components including heat element or fan device are dispose within the said night light housing to make said night light with air-freshener and LED display with optional added more functions on the current invention's night light.

2. A multiple functions LED night light with air fresher: At least has one slot to install an air-fresher unit on the said night light. At lest one of the light-medium with LED(s) input-ends to install the LED(s) on location and make the light beam travel within the said light-medium to make the light-medium all surface with very even brightness to be seen by viewer. At least one of the LED(s) to install on light-medium's input-ends incorporated with LED's related circuit, control means, sensor means, power source to make the LED(s) for illumination under predetermined functions, period of time, colors, brightness. At least one of the prong means to connect with LED's related circuit to connect to the wall outlet to get the power source to offer the power to the said LED related electric parts and components and heater means or fan device to make air flow to spread the fragrance to wide space as design and illumination. A proper housing assembly to allow the said slot, LED(s), light-medium, LED related electric parts and components, prong means disposed within for a finish Multiple function LED night light. The improvement including: Incorporated additional functions may selected from group combination from plurality of receptacles, motion sensor, more than one LED as light source for other direction illumination, time delay after trigger, fan device, heater elements to make N-functions LED night light with air fresher.

The multiple functions LED night light with air fresher consist of: At least one of LED(s) incorporated with its related electric parts and components to make the said LED(s) turn on under predetermined functions and period of time, color, brightness. At least one light-medium as LED display case in front of the said night light with desired configuration, shape, opening, window, curvature, designs to offer the illumination on its whole unit and fit into the space of the front and back base. The said light-medium as the LED display case fix on the back case to form a slot to install the air-fresher unit. The front and back base not only offer a space to allow the upper LED display case to fix but also offer a room to install the prong means, LED(s), LED's related electric parts and components, sensor means, switch means, control means, other device, receptacle means to make the said upper LED display case with attractive light functions and effects while prong means connected with power source. At least one of heat element or fan device disposed within the base room to make the air-fresher unit's fragrance to be wide spread out to wider area.

The multiple functions LED night light with air fresher consist of: At least one of LED(s) incorporated with its related electric parts and components to make the said LED(s) turn on under predetermined functions and period of time, color, brightness. At least one light-medium as LED display between the front housing and back housing with desired configuration, shape, opening, window, curvature, designs, stencils, drawing, or 3 dimensional artwork on its surface to offer the illumination on its whole surface. The said light-medium as the LED display fix between the front and back housing to form a slot to install the air-fresher unit. The front and back housing not only offer a space to allow the LED display to fix but also offer a room to install the prong means, LED(s), LED's related electric parts and components, sensor means, switch means, control means, other device, receptacle means to make the said LED display with attractive light functions and effects while prong means connected with power source. At least one of heat element or fan device disposed within the housing's room to make the air-fresher unit's fragrance to be wide spread out to wider area.

5. The multiple functions LED night light with Air Fresher consist of; At least one of LED related circuit(s), prong means are sealed within a box which made of safety standard material under certain supplier and certain wall thickness so can pass authority approval for all safety requirement. At least one of the LED(s) connect with the said sealed-unit by conductive wire, disposed within the box, or install on box without exposure the LED's electric legs to fit into light-medium's input-end(s) to make the said LED display illuminated on its surface under predetermined functions, period of time, brightness, colors, effects and activated means while prong means connect with its power source. At least one housing assembly to allow the air-fresher unit, sealed-unit, LED display with light-medium property, heat element or fan device been fixed to form a finish product.

6. The Multiple LED night light with Air-Fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said prong means can be fix on the location or swivel type.

The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said multiple functions may selected from group combination from plurality of receptacles, motion sensor, more than one LED as light source for other direction illumination, time delay after trigger, fan device, heater elements to get N-functions LED night light with air fresher.

8. The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said heat element and fan device both can make air flow to bring the air-fresher fragrance to spread out to wider areas.

9. The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said fan device can drive by the solar power source under desired control means to rotate or stop.

10. The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said air freshener unit can use conventional market available items to fit into the said slot.

11. The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said slot can be on top, right side, left side to install and replace.

12. The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said heat means may be in the form of resistor unit, resistor film , or the other heater means selected from conventional market place available model.

13. The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said fan device which can use super compact size with super low power consumption model selected from conventional market available items.

14. The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said fan device power by separated power source which different from the LED(s) power source which may selected from combination of solar module, rechargeable battery, control means.

15. The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said air freshener unit may be in form of gel, liquid, solid unit, flower, potpourri, dry flower, dry plants, or paper type as long as can have the air fragrance, or smell and spread out for a period of time.

16. The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said LED(s) may have plurality of units on the same unit with variety of light emitting angels for more than 1 areas been illuminated.

17. The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said light medium may be in any shape, configuration, curve, thickness as long as can make the light beams travel within and brightness can be seen on its surface.

The multiple LED night light with air-fresher as claim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the said the light medium material can be selected from group combination of plastic resin, poly, pottery, porcelain, PS, PP, PET, PVC, PC, Acrylic or any material which can allow the light beams travel within the said medium with special treatment on its surface.

A sealed-unit for LED light device consists of: At least one of housing to allow the prong means, LED related circuit sealed into a safety standard plastic material which meet the safety standard's certain flammable grade under some supplier and wall thickness. At least one of the LED(s) to connect with the said LED related circuit and prong means to get the power and functions under predetermined features for illumination. The said LED may dispose of the said sealed-unit, connected by conductive wire, or install on the surface of sealed-unit without see the electric metal legs. The said prong means can be fix on the location or swivel type. The sealed-unit can be assembly with the said light device by conventional available skill of the art to make a final product.

BACKGROUND

[0010] The U.S. prior arts including U.S. Pat. Nos. 6,714,725, 6,810,204, 6,853,801, 6,871,794, 6,895,177, 6,897,381, 6,901,215, 6,902,817, D 518,883, D520,30 not are same as current invention's features.

The General electric U.S. prior art U.S. Pat. No. 6,302,559, D468,033 disclosure the Electro-luminescent night light with air-fresher refill piece.

[0014] All these prior arts lack of to teach how to make light-medium to make the bright spot LED light source to surface light for area illumination. Also, do not disclosure any special treatment how to make the light-medium with low cost and less labor intensity. It also do not disclosure the simple and value appearance for illuminated front LED display as light-medium with simple install into the space between the space of front and back base. It also lack of teach the sealed-unit to meet the strict safety standard so rest of night light material can use very cheap material even a paper. It also lack of teach to apply the air-freshener unit from side or from top to install into the said slot. Especially do not teach to apply the sand-blaster or rough process light-medium with milky/frosted front sheet will get the best light photometric effects.

The LED display (17) with its desired shape, configuration, thickness (T), opening (15a), window (15b), cut-out (15c) curvature (hereof as close U curvature) , designs to offer the illumination on LED display surface (17) and fit into the space between the front (19) and back (18) base. From FIG. 5, The LED display (5a) has all the light-medium properties and the said light-medium (5a) has at least one of LED(s) input-ends (5f) (5e) (5N) to install the LED(s) on location and make the light beam travel within the said light-medium to make the light-medium's (5a) all surface with very even brightness to be seen by viewer.

The heat element (3i) also connect with the circuit to get heat occur and make the hot air flow up to create the air flow to bring the fragrance spread out quickly and to big area. It also can use the fan device (not shown) to replace the heat element because the fan can design on proper rotating times/per minute (rpm) with super lower power consumption motor to drive the fan blade to make big air flow to far distance to spread out the air-freshener's fragrance to board area. Because some of motor with very small power consumption, it can be drive by solar power system. It will be good to has solar for free energy. However, which power source to use for heat element and fan device will be determined by the power consumption. It may use wall outlet power source, battery power source, or solar power source for different heat element and fan device specification. The said fan device which can use super compact size with super low power consumption model selected from conventional market available items. The said heat means may be in the form of resistor unit, resistor film, or the other heater means selected from conventional market place available model.

No. 7,002,114 device for more advanced technical with adjustable heat element. It also can use the fan device with super low power consumption motor to drive the fan blades to make big and quickly airflow instantly to spread out the air freshener fragrance to wide area instantly.

The night light have very strict safety regulation to use specify plastic material with certain flammable standard such as V-0 Grade under certain plastic supplier with fix wall thickness. The sealed-unit has LED related circuit, control means, prong means disposed within, this can design for super slim and wider unit or thicker for small unit which depend on the market requirement. For convenience, It also can make a desired unit which can fit into different base shape such as boat shape (S1), tube shape (S10), Rectangular shape (S20) for different night light application.

The LED will fit into the light-medium's thickness to get the best result.
